Black Friday 2019 Brings a New Switch Bundle and Other Deals

How do you feel about Black Friday? Are you one who plans your attack and rises early to get all the best deals, or are you one who sits at home eating leftovers while shopping online, going to click this link and look for deals of all kinds that crop up for the big day? No matter your preference, Nintendo has you covered with some big discounts for online and brick-and-mortar stores.

The biggest news is that you can grab a Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle for only $299.99 (US). That means, you get the game for free, which normally sells for $59.99. You’ll be able to purchase this bundle at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart starting November 28, 2019.

You might be thinking to yourself, “Why would Nintendo give us such a great deal!?” For some of you, it might be important to note the fine print, which states, “Includes original Nintendo Switch model HAC-001, battery performance ranges from 2.5 – 6.5 hours.” That’s right. While this is generous, it seems Nintendo might be partially offering this to empty their stock of original Switch units that have poorer battery life.

On top of this great bundle, you can also grab some Joy-Con controllers, a Poké Ball Plus, and several games at significant discounts this Black Friday (or earlier). Check out the full list of all deals below.

Starting November 27, 2019:

  • Super Mario Odyssey – $39.99
  • Super Mario Party – $39.99
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – $39.99

Starting November 28, 2019:

It is important to note that all the deals are available at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart with one exception. The Joy-Con controller deal is only available at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target.

As we stated on our last podcast, we have also heard strong rumors that Walmart will have Nintendo Switch units on sale for $199 and Switch Lite units for $149, but we have not been able to confirm that from Walmart.

What do you all think of these Black Friday deals? Will you be jumping on any of them for yourself, a friend, or family member?
