Confirmed E3 Games Before the Nintendo Direct

Hey Everyone! The Nintendo Direct for E3 is going to drop very soon, but I thought it may be a good idea to share some of the games that I am excited about from third party companies before we even hear from Nintendo. Here are some games that have been announced from other companies that are making their way to our favorite hybrid console.

Gods and Monsters– This was announced at the end of Ubisoft’s presentation. It looks like a cell-shaded/painted art-style with Zelda and Mythology elements mixed together. I thought it looked beautiful, from the little snapshot we got. Looking forward to more on it.

Elder Scrolls Blades– This is a free-to-play game on mobile devices that will be making its way to the Switch this fall. I haven’t played any of it yet, but it looks like something I will sink my time into for a while when it comes out.

Minecraft Dungeons– This is a Microsoft game and it looks a little like Minecraft mixed with Diablo. A dungeon crawler that looks like a lot of fun. Another one I am excited to check out. As a side note, another Minecraft-esk game I am looking forward to is Hytale – Is hytale to become Minecraft 2? Of course, only time will tell if there is to be a true successor to the ever-popular multiplayer game. One of the reasons behind the success of Minecraft is its gaming community, backed by legions of public servers. In addition to that, there are the best Minecraft server hosting services that allow greater control and match-up between players, besides allowing the game to be played on a mobile device. Together, these offer Minecraft gamers the independence and flexibility to play as they wish.

The Last Remnant Remastered– Square Enix announced that you can get this game today. I never played it, but it looks right up my alley. I think it will be a lot of fun and something to check out for sure.

Final Fantasy 8 Remastered– We are getting FF8 on the Nintendo Switch. A lot of people were wondering where it was when they announced 7, 9, and 10 all coming to the Switch, but skipped 8. Well here it is, and you can get it this year on the Nintendo Switch. I am excited, because I actually never played this game and I thought I would enjoy it because of my love for the JRPG.

Here are some other games that were mentioned, but we have written about them other places or already knew they were coming, but still excited to see them come to the Nintendo Switch: Doom Eternal, Just Dance 2020, Star Wars Skywalker Saga, Wolfenstein Youngblood, Dragon Quest XI S, Dragon Quest Builders 2, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.
