Mario Kart 8 Goes Deluxe on Nintendo Switch

Mario Kart 8 is getting what Nintendo has called the “definitive edition” on Nintendo Switch. On April 28, the Mario Kart you know and love on Wii U is getting even better with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Not only will new characters, maps, karts, and items be back, they have also fixed what was arguably the worst aspect of the original — Battle mode. That’s the part that excites me the most. In fact, it is enough to make me feel all right about buying it again.

On top of all this, another thing many will love hearing is that the game will run at 60 frames per second even in multiplayer. The Wii U version dropped frame rate in multiplayer, but this will always be 60, even in handheld mode.

Just check out this video, which shows all the new features in action. Then, let us know what you think about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in the comments! Will you get it?
