E3 will be kicking off this weekend and will be dropping all sorts of information for upcoming games. As usual, Nintendo has issued out titles that will be released today along with one releasing next week. Be sure to see the full details below.
Fire Emblem has been a hot topic in the Nintendo Download in the past few weeks. This week follows suit, but this time focusing on an in-game update for Fire Emblem Heroes. Perma-death is has been finally added into the game, well sort of. A new event called the Tempest Trials launched today where you must send a squad of heroes into a series of maps. Any heroes lost will stay dead until you exhaust all of your teams or complete the final map. Take on various levels of difficulty to earn points. Those points will award fabulous prizes such as Marth: Enigmatic Blade, orbs, feathers, and crystals.

- Tempest Trials – Running until June 21 at 11:59 p.m. PT, this special event introduces a series of maps you must fight your way through from beginning to end. Gather your strongest allies and challenge your way to the final map! If all of the allies on your team are defeated, you can immediately make a new team and try the map again. However, defeated allies cannot be used again until the final map is cleared, or until all your teams are defeated and you attempt a new trial. During this time, there will also be quests related to Tempest Trials. Also, to celebrate this new event, a new Xenologue Map has been added. Available on App Store and Google Play, this mobile application is free-to-start and offers some optional in-app purchases.
