On the heels of a forty-five minute Nintendo Direct, is a Nintendo Download “Gold” edition. This “gold” release includes fifteen titles, a theme, and new activity. Not only on the quantity side, we also get some high-quality titles mixed in as well. Let’s see what is in store for us today!
During E3, Nintendo had slipped in a surprise announcement of a remake of Metroid II releasing on the 3DS. This remastered title is none other than Metroid: Samus Returns. Re-explore SR388 in a completely overhauled world full of new content. Master the new melee attack, discover new abilities and destroy the metroids once-and-for-all. Be sure to purchase this title on your Nintendo 3DS starting tomorrow to show Nintendo we need more 2-D Metroid games! In case you need some Minecraft on the go, Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition is available today along with Percy’s Predicament Deluxe. For those of you that are looking for new content on the Wii U, then be sure to check out EARTHLOCK: Festival of Magic and Vigilante.
If you are looking to enjoy a fun game of basketball on your Switch, then 2K Sports has you covered. Based on your level of interest in basketball, you can purchase a variety of packs offering some bonus extras. You can get the standard edition, legend edition, and gold legend edition. The upgraded packs feature additional special VC currency, MyTEAM packs for fantasy team building, special apparel items for some superstars like Shaq, and more. All three versions will be available on the eShop tomorrow, with a physical release on October 17. Robonauts will also release tomorrow September 15 as well. There are plenty of other titles to choose from that are available today including Semispheres, Beach Buggy Racing, Kingdom: New Lands, 36 Fragments of Midnight, Quest of Dungeons and ACA NEOGEO Spin Master.
