Nintendo Download for May 11, 2017 – North America

There’s no easy way to put this… We’re only getting three games this week. Yeah, I was shocked too. I mean, they are good games, but compared to previous weeks with way more than that, this is a bit odd. It reminds me of the later days of the Wii and Wii U Nintendo Downloads, when they were barely releasing any games. The issue is that they’ve said that they are not killing the 3DS, and the Switch is practically brand new.

Maybe this is just an off-week. Let’s hope.

Anyway, what are those three games? You may or may not be happy about this. They are all ports from previous games. The big one is Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, which comes with all the previously released Super Mario Mash-Up pack. You can also download Elliot Quest on your Nintendo 3DS, which was previously only available on Wii U. Finally, the NEOGEO library continues to increase on the Switch with the release of GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES.

On top of all this, Nintendo has added a few My Nintendo rewards in connection with the recent release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch. If you have the coins, you can download a calendar, wallpaper, or starter guide.

As always, the full release list is below, along with the prices, just below the slideshow of screenshots. If you plan on downloading any of these games, let us know in the comments!
