Check out all the new games available for download this week!
Just this week, it seemed like everyone began to remember that Nintendo promised us an update for Mario Maker 2, which was supposed to add online play with friends. Well, tonight, they came through on that promise. Version 1.1.0 is now live for a free update.
Feather is a bird-simulation, where you fly around an island. That’s basically it. There are no enemies or any threats. So, should you spend your hard-earned cash on this game?
Death Squared has been a puzzler that has not only challenge me, but it has given my wife and friends some great opportunities to work together — because if we don’t, this game will quickly make us enemies.
Every once in a while, a game comes along that changes my idea of what a game can be. My Brother Rabbit puts you in a young child’s imagination in a point-and-click adventure that tugs on your heart-strings and provides some difficult puzzles to solve. I just wish it didn’t also frustrate.
Everyone once in a while, there is an RPG that draws me in just like the original Final Fantasy, Zelda, and Mana games. While I was not expecting it, Earthlock has become one of my favorite adventures in recent years.
While we have seen video games based on popular game shows before, I was excited to see Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! packaged together in America’s Greatest Game Shows for the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, though, that excitement was quickly diminished once I began playing.
On episode 183, we’ll share our impressions about The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on Nintendo Switch and discuss a bit of the recent news surrounding Nintendo. For instance, what is Ring Fit Adventure, did we get a Switch Lite, how was year one of the Nintendo Switch Online service, and how did we celebrate Nintendo’s 130th anniversary? As usual, we’ll also interact with you all in the live chatroom throughout the show!
I’ve been a fan of the Bit.Trip games ever since the WiiWare days. I’ve since played Runner2, and I was excited that Runner3 was coming to Nintendo Switch. All this makes it hard for me to say it’s been a bit of a chore to keep going back to Runner3.
Do you remember that old game called Snake that was on basically every device known to man? Picture that same idea but on a sphere similar to one of the worlds in Super Mario Galaxy. Now instead of a snake, you are piloting a bear in a space suit competing against others. This is Astro Bears, and it might be something you want to pull out at your next game night.
Castle Crashers Remastered out now!
You may remember earlier this week a somewhat weird video that Nintendo posted showing off some interesting peripheral trailer, well today Nintendo has shown us their new, health-based, game and peripheral for the Nintendo Switch: Ring Fit Adventure.
