Last year there were rumors that GameBoy and GameBoy Advance games were coming to Nintendo Switch’s online service, but alas, it did not happen and everyone was sad.
We may now have hard evidence as there have been several leaks that GameBoy and GameBoy Advance games will be coming to the Switch online. So should we be expecting an announcement from Nintendo?
The leak was first discovered and posted by @trashbandacoot on Twitter.
As of now Nintendo has not confirmed or denied these rumors. One of the big questions that presents itself from this leak is: will the price for the Switch online expansion be raised or will it be included with the current price?
Only time will tell if this rumor becomes a reality. Until then, what GameBoy or GameBoy Advance games are you hoping to play on the Switch? Keep in mind that, while it is illegal to modify the firmware of a video game system, if you have an old GameBoy sitting around, technically speaking, it can be modded to access thousands of games!
