Looks like Final Fantasy VII will receive more representation and music (hopefully).
At the start of the Game Awards 2020, Nintendo revealed a new fighter to the nearly 80-fighter roster. Sephiroth, the antagonist from the popular Final Fantasy VII, will join the battle. Sephiroth is the 3rd fighter of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2 DLC, which already includes DLC fighters Min-Min from ARMS and Steve & Alex from Minecraft. There are 3 more after Sephiroth arrives.
Nintendo also revealed on Twitter that there will be a “Mr. Sakurai Presents” presentation on Sephiroth on December 17th at 2 P.M. PT.
