This morning, I woke up to a huge snow storm that is coming for a good portion of the US east coast, but I also woke up to see Nintendo had posted a “Making of” series of videos all about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Each video is about 10 minutes long; and together, they cover the initial concepts, the story/characters, and the open-world style of the game.
We just finished up our first episode of GameChat last night, all about this incredible game, so I was very pleased to see these videos posted this morning! I especially enjoy hearing the thoughts behind the game, what was going through the developers’ minds, and what inspired them. In my opinion, video games are clearly an art form, and the Zelda series is one of the medium’s masterpieces!
Instead of spoiling it for you, we’ve simply posted all the videos right here for your viewing pleasure! If you’re snowed in like me, today, do yourself a favor by pouring a cup of hot coffee or cocoa and sitting back to enjoy the thoughts behind what is arguably one of the best Zelda games ever made.
