Legend of Zelda Added to the Video Game Hall of Fame

Nintendo sent out an official press stating that the original Legend of Zelda for the NES has been inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame.  It joins Super Mario Brothers which had joined last year.  Since the original Zelda game, it has developed into a critically acclaimed series with numerous titles and even some spin-offs.  It even has a formal timeline of every game in the series.  The latest entry in the series will arrive on the Wii U alongside the NX in 2017 and will be the most expansive game to date.  It will even have the open world that the original game had.  In case you forgot what the original game played like, here’s a trailer.
