The 3DS gets lots of new titles and the Wii U gets a DS classic in today’s Nintendo Download!
This week makes history again for the year as the 3DS side of the eShop has finally outpaced the Wii U. This has only occurred a handful of times this entire year. Just two games on the Wii U with seven dropping on the 3DS. This week’s Nintendo Download is packed with quality, so let’s jump right in!
The two lonely titles on the Wii U eShop this week are Super Mario 64 DS and Shadow Archer. The first is a classic game that was remade on the DS. Mario, Wario, Luigi and Yoshi were invited to the castle by Peach. Yoshi dozed off and the others went inside. Little did they know that Bowser was waiting for them and locked them all up. Yoshi must rescue his friends and then the Princess from Bowser! In Shadow Archer, you protect the dark realm from hordes of creatures with your trusty bow. You only get a limited amount of shots, so make every one count!
Over on the 3DS side we get SNES classic in the forms of various versions of Street Fighter. The games joining the virtual console are Street Fighter Alpha 2, Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, and Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting. For those interested in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice there is now a demo available to check out. Also dropping in are Japanese Rail Sim 3D Monorail Trip to Okinawa, Legend of Kusakari, and Pixel Paint.
