A trailer appeared for an upcoming costume in Super Mario Maker on the Japanese Nintendo YouTube channel. It appears that we will get a costume for the Tanooki Statue. This costume looks like the statue that Tanooki Mario can turn into in Super Mario Bros 3. This is a nice effect as you can see the animations include Mario peaking out from behind it.
