As of now, those are the only confirmed game announcements. But we also discussed a number of games we think should also come to Switch, like Sea of Solitude, the new Star Wars Jedi game, Elder Scrolls VI, Doom Eternal, Fallout 76, Starfield, Double Switch, Assassin’s Creed, Skull and Bones, For Honor, Tomb Raider, and Kingdom Hearts III. Elder Scrolls Online could possibly be viable on the Switch as well, it could certainly make leveling those dragon knight builds eso easier due to the console’s portable nature. However no announcements are expected to be made. Many say that due to the size of the game it would require an SD card in addition to the cartridge which may be the reason it hasn’t been ported yet.
In other Switch news, EA addressed questions about Switch versions of Madden 19 and Unravel Two. They said, “We always think about every platform out there. It’s really a decision of what’s best for Madden and us as EA and where we’re going. You never rule out getting your game in front of players. You want to go where everyone is. We’d never rule it out. We just don’t have any current plans right now.” They also said, “Just so you all know – it’s not that we’re not aware that Unravel Two would be great on Switch. I mean, they even made it the right colors! But the reality is that a port would take a LOT of work and our small studio doesn’t have the resources at the moment. If we could we would!”
That sure is a lot for the first “day” of E3! But we’ll be back tomorrow with a our live-reactions from the Nintendo Direct along with another daily recap from everything announced from Tuesday of E3 2018.
