Are you a big fan of Pikachu like me? If so, you can now get much more of the electric-type Pokémon. A special Pikachu Edition of the Nintendo 2DS XL will launch on January 26 alongside the GameBoy Color game Pokémon Crystal, which will be available on the 3DS/2DS eShop.
“The New Nintendo 2DS XL Pikachu Edition is a charming addition to the Nintendo 3DS line-up that is sure to delight Pokémon fans of all ages,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The console will cost $159.99 in the United States.
Also, the previous Japan-only Detective Pikachu will finally hit North American and European shores on March 23 for a suggested price of $39.99 in the US. Players will team up with a talking Pikachu to solve mysteries in the streets of Ryme City. If that was not enough, Detective Pikachu is also getting his very own extra-large amiibo on March 23 that will cost $29.99 in the US, which will provide both humor and help in the game.
