Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, coming to Nintendo Wii U and 3DS on June 28, 2016.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens lets players relive epic moments from the blockbuster Star Wars film released this past December. Along with new mechanics to the classic LEGO brick-building gameplay, The Force Awakens will feature brand new story content exploring the time between Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If you are a huge Star Wars fan then you must be overjoyed to hear the news of a new addition to the franchise. Hopefully, there will be some of the unforgettable SW ships making an appearance, but if not, it gives the excuse to re-watch the films all over again.
Star Wars fans can expect to see a huge amount of playable characters from the film, from heroes such as Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C3P-O and BB-8 to villains like Kylo Ren, General Hux and Captain Phasma. New to LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the “Multi-Builds” system, where players can choose from multiple building options to advance the game. Also new are Blaster Battles and arena-based battles and dogfights in space, featuring famous ships from the series like the Millennium Falcon.
We can expect to see a lot more of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens ahead of its launch in June. We’ll keep you up-to-date with all the latest LEGO news as it becomes available.
