In just four months, Pokémon Pokopia has become a worldwide success. What seemed like a strange idea for a Pokémon spin-off game has turned into a system-selling game for the Switch 2. And it just hit a milestone in sales.
In a recent press release, Nintendo stated, “Nintendo and The Pokémon Company group have announced that global sales of the Pokémon Pokopia game have surpassed 5 million units across physical and digital versions, just over four months after its launch on March 5, 2026.”
The game isn’t slowing down either. The paid DLC Expansion Pass Part 1: Bubbly Basin is available now, Part 2 is coming later in 2026, and Part 3 is planned for 2027.
