Depending on how you look at it, it can be good and bad. Nintendo has officially ended the production of Wii U consoles. According to an article on Kotaku it was originally reported on Japan, only to find out from Nintendo of America that it was a global production cutoff.
The Wii U has had a pretty decent run and has plenty of games to back it up. Some people I have talked to compare it to that of the Sega Saturn, plenty of good games and good hardware but not a lot of support. In the end the Wii U was worth it for a lot of us and it lives on in the Nintendo Switch. So have you pre-ordered your Switch yet? If you haven’t, don’t fret because Nintendo has increased production on Switch consoles!
