It seems like every time I turn around, there is another benefit added to Amazon Prime. It all started with free two-day shipping, but they have added many other benefits over the years like Prime movies, Kindle books, video game loot, pre-order discounts for video games, and more.
Unfortunately, Amazon Europe is about to take away one of the best benefits for gamers, especially those who prefer physical copies of games. Starting on August 7, 2018, Amazon Prime users across Europe will no longer have their beloved discount on video game pre-orders. If you’re still trying to save money on your physical pre-oreders you can browse through PromoCodeWatch Coupons and look out for gaming site or Amazon discount codes.
Amazon sent out the following notice to Prime users last week to notify them:
“We would now like to inform you that we will no longer offer the Prime discount of £2 on physical video game pre-orders from 7 August, 2018. You can still use this Prime discount without restriction until this date and you will continue to receive all these Twitch Prime benefits:
- Discount codes for new video game releases
- Bonus games that are yours to keep every month
- Monthly subscription for your favourite Twitch streamer
- In-game loot including outfits, vehicles and items, plus surprises and exclusives for popular games.
