It is official! Nintendo has announced the NX console’s release month! While for a lot of people it’s not the rumored 2016 date. I will add some perspective with the Wii U. The Wii U was released initially November 2012. The Wii U will be 5 years old next November and to date, according to Wikipedia, there is 727 games released for the console.
Here’s the official word from Nintendo PR:
“Nintendo previously announced that it would release more information about its next system, code-named NX, this year. As the first announcement of any NX information, Nintendo confirmed that NX is scheduled to launch in March 2017. NX will not make an appearance at the upcoming E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles in June and will be unveiled later this year.”
