The sequel to the 2007 cult-classic Nintendo DS game will reap its way onto store shelves on July 27, 2021.
Announced last year, NEO: The World Ends With You is the next installment in the story of The Worlds Ends With You. Fans who have been waiting almost 15 years for a sequel will finally get one. As opposed to the first game, this sequel will be more of an action RPG in a full 3D environment with team battles.
Square-Enix has provided a trailer with more story and character info:
The World Ends With You released for the DS in 2007 for Japan and 2008 for the west. It received a mobile port in 2012 and a Switch port in 2018 (to very mixed reception).
