In an attempt to cash on the success of the Nintendo Switch, various counterfeiters have begun producing fake wireless pro controllers. These controllers are almost perfect replicas, except that they lack the Switch logo (although some counterfeits might even have the logo). Even the box used to package these controllers is similar. The fake pro controllers sell for around $25 on eBay, and while it is almost a third of the cost of an official controller($70), it is a vastly worse product.
Buying counterfeit controllers is never a good decision. The best case scenario is that you end up with a cheap imitation and the worst case scenario is you get scammed. When buying peripherals for a console, always buy first or third party, buying fake controllers is a quick way to lose money.
