Wired Productions Ltd. and developer Caged Element Inc. have announced the launch of their newest title, GRIP: Combat Racing, on Switch. The game is an arcade combat racer and a spiritual successor to the Rollcage games from the 90s. In addition to this, Caged Element is releasing free additional downloadable tracks, and will continue to add more free tracks over time.
Below is the trailer and more information about the game. You can also check out our livestream of GRIP from November 2.
Inspired by the Rollcage games of the late 90s and backed by a highly-skilled and accomplished team, which includes Rollcage programming veteran, Robert Baker, GRIP: Combat Racing celebrates the re-emergence of blindingly fast arcade combat racers, offering a true, wheel-gripping racing experience – where utter destruction serves one true purpose: be the first to cross the finish line.
The game can be purchased today for console (SRP $39.99) and PC (SRP $29.99) – digitally on the PlayStation™ Store, Xbox Games Store & Steam, or physically, upright and upside-down at select retailers.
