On September 10, 2020, Ubisoft held their Ubisoft Forward digital event, which gave us a look into what we can expect from the company in the next six months. The release date for one of their most anticipated games of 2020 might not be revealed yet, but there are still a lot of exciting games coming to the platform. So while we are waiting to explore those sweet Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla abilities here is a guide of all the updates and reveals for games coming to Nintendo Switch.
Immortals Fenyx Rising – As Fenyx, a winged hero on a quest to free the gods of Olympus from a curse, players will wield godly powers and ancient weapons to battle towering mythological creatures across a fantastical land called the Golden Isle. This open-world and third-person, action-adventure game releases on December 3, 2020.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition – The classic beat-‘em-up (based on the cult-classic movie) about love and music in a 2D pixel-art Toronto is now back. The online-enabled re-release includes the original game as well as its original DLC, which adds two playable characters as well as subspace minigames, dodgeball, and PvP battles. This licensed game returns to the world in Holiday 2020.
Just Dance 2021 – Nine additional songs have been announced from the tracklist, one of which is available to try now in Just Dance 2020. Just Dance 2021‘s track “Without Me” by Eminem will be available to try early for one week starting today in Just Dance 2020, either through a Just Dance Unlimited subscription or an active trial period. This 2021 iteration of the ever-popular dancing game series will release on November 12, 2020.
Roller Champions – Ubisoft Montreal, the development team of Roller Champions, gave an update on the game’s current status and highlighted the feedback they’ve been getting from workshops that will be used to shape and improve the game before its official launch. This multiplayer-only and free-to-play roller derby game is set to be released in early 2021.
Prior to the event, Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft, provided a message regarding the status of the Ubisoft work environment.
