Nintendo announced recently that they will have an Expansion Pack update to their Nintendo Switch Online service. This base service allows players to play some games online, play a selection of NES and SNES games locally and online, enjoy cloud backup for most games’ save data, download the Switch mobile app, and have access to other items and limited time benefits. The Expansion pack will add even more when it launches on October 25, 2021.
Nintendo 64 Games – Play a select number of N64 games locally and online with the same suspend points and rewind abilities that you know from the NES and SNES games for Switch Online. More games will be added in the future.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise (starting November 5, 2021) – Work with Lottie as a member of the Paradise Planning Team. Clients with different dream vacation requests will visit a new resort area located in an archipelago, made up of several different islands, where the Paradise Planning team is located. Play this game expansion without having to buy it (regular cost of $24.99 US). [Note: You do need to own Animal Crossing: New Horizons, though.]
SEGA Genesis Games – Play a select number of Genesis games locally and online with the same suspend points and rewind abilities as NES, SNES, and N64. More games will be added in the future.
