The eternally-delayed Switch version of the Doom (2016) sequel finally has a set release date of December 8, 2020.
Ten days ago, it was confirmed that the physical release was cancelled after several customers reported that their GameStop pre-orders for Doom Eternal on Switch were being cancelled.
More information was teased by the Bethesda spokesperson and we finally have that info: a release date of December 8th, 2020. It is unknown why the Switch version was delayed so heavily. Nintendo had this to say: “The wait is almost over! Get ready to conquer demons when DOOM Eternal comes to #NintendoSwitch on Dec. 8!”
