Mastiff is bringing Nihon Falcom’s Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure westward. It will be released later this summer!
The first thing to note, it will be making a special appearance at PAX West in Seattle. More details will be available in the coming weeks. In case you needed to know more about the game, this game is a fully 3D fantasy world packed full of characters. There is real-time combat, mini-games, multiple endings, alternate gameplay modes, hidden characters and a full soundtrack. All of this works together to make a fast-paced, immersive and one magical adventure.
It stars a young girl named Parin who is sent to live with her grandfather. He lives in a small mining town, and her parents leave to go to an ancient ruin. No other children live in town, so Parin is surprised to find a young girl being attacked by an angry dog. She manages to save her from the dog. She is certainly surprised that her new friend is in fact, a monster!
Her new friend invites her to the mysterious Monster Village which is behind the town. She makes new friends with other monsters when some Phantoms invade the village and ‘monster nap’ most of the villagers! She learns of a Legendary Drill which is only available to the chosen. This drill is powerful enough to eliminate the Phantoms. The quest then begins to reclaim the Legendary Drill and drive out the Phantoms.
