The 2020 critically-acclaimed, console-exclusive rogue-like for Switch has swept up the annual D.I.C.E. awards with five wins, including “Game of the Year”.
Hades won “Action Game of the Year”, “Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game”, “Outstanding Achievement in Game Design”, “Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction” and “Game of the Year”. In the GOTY category, Hades managed to beat Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part II.
In terms of Nintendo-published games, Animal Crossing: New Horizons managed to take home “Family Game of the Year” and Mario Kart Live drove off with “Racing Game of the Year”.
