Over the last few years, Nintendo has been placing a high level of focus on independent game developers. There are quite a few great indie games on the Nintendo Switch, and apparently there are many great ones on the way. Nintendo plans to showcase several of those games in an online stream on August 19, 2019, they are calling an Indie World Showcase.
