Nintendo has dropped a trailer for a new multiplayer spin-off in the Kirby series that is set to release this summer.
This particular spin-off sees Kirby racing in ball form. Nintendo specifies that “you’ll race against opponents through a smorgasbord of food-themed stages. You can expect some bumping, battling, and many (many) strawberries. Four players can jump in on the fun”. Many have compared the gameplay to Mario Party and Fall Guys. No release date or price is listed and the game appears to be digital-only; however, it was later revealed that download cards will be available at retail.
Following Kirby & The Forgotten Land, Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be the second Kirby game for 2022 which marks the 30th anniversary of the series.
Kirby’s Dream Buffet is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch Eshop this summer.
Dave’s first Nintendo platform was the GameCube when he was age 7; however, he was introduced to Nintendo through Duck Hunt on NES.
