Another case of the internet gone awry. Redditors and news sites have found themselves in a tiff to find that the upcoming Switch game, Lego City Undercover was supposedly going to have a 13gb (gigabyte) download. According to an update over at Eurogamer, whom have reached out to Warner Bros. They had said, “Players who purchase Lego City Undercover on Nintendo Switch at retail do not need to download the game to play.”
We’ve reached out to both Traveller Tales and Warner Bros for a statement on this.
Update: Warner Bros has gotten back to us and confirmed our thoughts. The exact statement is below
Players who purchase LEGO CITY Undercover on Nintendo Switch at retail do not need to download the game at all to play it in its entirety. All players who purchase the game can download the small content update patch with an internet connection.
As to what they mean by small, we don’t know yet but the game is coming out soon. I recommend it as its an absolute joy to play!
