Star Wars and LEGO seem to go hand-in-hand. Later this year, the Star Wars nine-film saga comes to a close with The Rise of the Skywalker, and LEGO will follow up with their tie-in game next year.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games, in partnership with The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm announced today that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will launch on Nintendo Switch in 2020.
Not only will the game contain playable LEGO versions of all nine films and hundreds of characters, you will have more freedom than ever in this version. “The game will give fans an all-new LEGO Star Wars experience with complete freedom to explore the LEGO Star Wars galaxy,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “It was an absolute pleasure to be part of the launch of the original LEGO Star Wars game and it’s equally exciting to now move the series forward and help create a new era of LEGO Star Wars games.”
