Nintendo Download for January 25, 2018 – North America

Are you ready to brave some incredible platforming challenges, catch pocket monsters from the John region, defend the earth, fight to the death, and then go for a tennis match? If so, this week’s Nintendo Download is for you! Each week, Nintendo releases their list of new eShop games, discounts, and more, and we’ve got all the details.

The Nintendo Switch eShop list is growing by 14 games this week, while the 3DS eShop is chugging along with two new titles. Topping that list for the Nintendo Switch is Celeste, a simple, yet challenging platformer that will keep you coming back for more partially due to its lightning-fast respawn time. Pokémon Crystal also returns through the 3DS Virtual Console for those looking for a great retro adventure. In fact, retro and arcade seem to be a theme this week, since many of this week’s games fall into one or both of these categories.

As always, the full release list is below, along with the prices (in the US), just below the screenshots. If you plan on downloading any of these games, let us know in the comments!
