The 3DS eShop updates offer quite a variety today, including Virtual Console games and more!
The scales have finally tipped in the 3DS’ favor in today’s Nintendo Download. There’s also many virtual console games to cover as well! Let’s dive right in!
Only three titles today for the Wii U side of the eShop in today’s update. First, we have Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut. Shantae’s most popular adventure has now been upgraded for the Wii U including HD graphics, a magic mode costume, and a new warp point system. This is the first Shantae game to drop on the Wii U so be sure to check it out her hair-whipping adventure! Also featuring on the Wii U is the Virtual Console release of Yoshi’s Story. This N64 game is a part of the Yoshi series where you can ground pound, throw eggs, and use Yoshi to restore his island back to normal from Baby Bowser and Kamek. The final game for the Wii U in today’s update is Infinity Runner.
Highlighting the 3DS side of the eShop is Hyrule Warriors Legends. Those that missed out on the Wii U version can check out the portable edition that contains new characters and a new story. This game will be available for download starting tomorrow, or you can always pick it up at your favorite retailer. The SNES games for the new 3DS continue to drop as we got three new titles today. The games available today are Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario Kart, and EarthBound. These games include the pixel perfect version so they can be played like how they did on the Super Nintendo. Fire Emblem Fates got it’s weekly DLC update with the launch of Hidden Truths (1 and 2). Finally Japanese Rail Sim 3D Journey in Suburbs #1 Vol. 2, Japanese Rail Sim 3D Journey in Suburbs #1 Vol. 3, Japanese Rail Sim 3D Journey in Suburbs #1 Vol. 4 and Witch & Hero 2 are also available.
