First Thursday of September and it seems that the summer break for the 3DS and Wii U are over. Both are back with a pair of titles each and Switch outpacing them with an impressive six games. Please excuse me while I count them. And a ooone! And a twooo! Threeee! Foooour! Fiiiiiive! Siiiiiiiix! Seveeeeeeeen! Eeeeeeeight! Niiiiine! Aaaaaand TEN! Here you go, here’s your Nintendo Download for this week. As you may know from the podcasts, I’m still waist deep in Breath of the Wild, and I couldn’t resist parodying the guy that trades you a diamond for ten luminous stones. Let’s see what is in store for us today!
Headlining the releases on the 3DS is Monster Hunter Stories. Gather your most powerful weapons and team members and take down beasts of epic proportions. Take their eggs and raise your own monsters. This game will be available tomorrow, September 8. Also, available on 3DS is Crystareino.
The featured release on the Switch is Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition. It is mostly a port of the Wii U game, Rayman Legends. It is a classic style platformer involving plenty of jumping, fighting, and exploration. Help the gang save the various mythical worlds. It is releasing later this week on September 12. Available today on Switch is Lichtspeer: Double Speer Edition, Double Dragon 4, The Bridge, ACA NEOGEO BLUE’S JOURNEY, NeuroVoider, and Physical Contact: 2048. The pair of Wii U titles is China Warrior and DETANA TWIN BEE.
