Since we are now in March, the delisting of certain Mario products is upon us.
Some were hoping that Nintendo would change their mind on the discontinuation of products for the plumber’s 35th birthday; unfortunately, that is not the case. The Nintendo Japanese Twitter account has reiterated that the end of Mario’s anniversary will mean that products such as Super Mario Bros. 35 and Super Mario 3D All-Stars will be discontinued (physically and digitally):
“The ‘Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary’ campaign will end at the end of March 2021. With the end of the campaign, the production, sales and services of some products will also end. For more details, please visit here.”
Remember, the last day to experience the battle royale, Super Mario Bros. 35, and buy Super Mario 3D All-Stars on the eshop will be March 31, 2021.
Dave’s first Nintendo platform was the GameCube when he was age 7; however, he was introduced to Nintendo through Duck Hunt on NES.
