We may have found out when the Phantom Thieves will take your Switch’s heart.
In a now pulled trailer, Atlus West may have accidentally showed the release date for the localized version of Persona 5 Strikers. Eagle-eyed fans were able to find the unlisted English trailer for the game on Atlus’ western Youtube channel.
A mirror of the trailer can be found here.
The game will release in the West on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and also Steam on February 23, 2021. This trailer seems to be official as Imran Khan, a freelance games journalist, states, “It went up a week early!”. It’s quite obvious that this trailer was supposed to be revealed at the upcoming Game Awards 2020.
Persona 5 Strikers originally released in Japan on February 20, 2020 for Switch & PS4 as Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. It is a sequel, set six months after the events of Persona 5.
