Pokémon Sun/Moon – Demo File Size, Ice Stone, New Info on October 14th

Ever since the new trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon was released on October 9th, fans have uncovered a few new tidbits about the games:

If you haven’t already checked out the rumor that was confirmed by the new starter evolutions, you can read it right here.

The demo of Pokémon Sun and Moon will be released on October 18th, so make sure you have at least 400 mb of data available either on your 3DS system or on an SD card if you want to unlock the demo-exclusive version of Greninja that can transform into Ash-Greninja!

This video from GameXplain shows that a new item will be coming to the games: the Ice Stone! Items like the Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, and Shiny Stone can be used to evolve different Pokémon, and this will almost certainly serve the same purpose. GameXplain speculates that it will be able to evolve the Alolan version of Vulpix into Alolan Ninetales (Ice and Ice/Fairy types, as opposed to their Fire-type counterparts found elsewhere in the world). The item could also be used to evolve Eevee into Glaceon, and perhaps to evolve some other currently unannounced Pokémon.

Finally, Serebii tells us that we will be getting more information on the upcoming games next Friday, on October 14th!
