Early this morning, we got seven action-packed minutes of Pokémon news in a Pokémon Direct. In the video, Tsunekazu Ishihara, President and CEO of The Pokémon Company, showed off the newest RPG adventures in the main series.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will take place in a new region called Galar, which will contain a variety of settings with brand new Pokémon. The graphics have been updated to reflect the new generation, and there will be various new elements added to the game.
The three starters will include the mischievous chimp, Grookey, the energetic rabbit, Scorbunny, and the timid water lizard, Sobble.
Sword and Shield are set to arrive in late 2019 on Nintendo Switch.
