The third entry in Nintendo’s newest and successful franchise finally has a release date.
Splatoon 3 will release on September 9, thirteen days before the end of summer. Nintendo announced the release date, alongside a new 4-minute trailer exclusively showing Turf War gameplay:
The new stage shown is called “Eeltail Alley” and the new weapon is known as the “stringer”, a bow-shaped weapon type that enables you to sling ink sideways and vertically. A “spider tank” special weapon of sorts and a grappling hook special are also shown.
In other Splatoon news, the Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion DLC is also now part of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack.
Splatoon 3 releases for Nintendo Switch on September 9.
Dave’s first Nintendo platform was the GameCube when he was age 7; however, he was introduced to Nintendo through Duck Hunt on NES.
