If you’ve been around NintendoFuse for a while, you know how much we love Starlink: Battle for Atlas. It popped up on our recent Game of the Year podcast, many of us agree that it is the Star Fox game that Zero, on Wii U, was not.
While the game has only been out since October 16, it seems Ubisoft is not done yet. Today, they announced free downloadable content is coming on December 21, which will include many fan-requested features. According to their press release, here is what will be available in this update:
- NEW ENEMY UNITS – All planets of the Atlas star system will receive brand new enemy types, introducing unique gameplay mechanics and encouraging players to adopt new strategies.
- NEW ACTIVITY – Outlaw fortifications will appear all over Atlas for players to take down. This new activity will provide loot and experience upon completion.
- PHOTO MODE – Players will be able to capture the favorite moments of their journey throughout Atlas and express their creativity with several tools to personalize their shots.
What do you think of this update? If you’ve already shelved it, will this get you back into the game? If you haven’t yet played Starlink, will this finally put you over the edge to get it?
