The Nintendo Switch system firmware updated to 11.0.0 recently, but it seems there were a few additional fixes that required a 11.0.1 update. Usually incremental updates like these are focused mostly on system stability, but as stated already, this one is all about correcting problems.
If you have automatic updates turned on, your Switch should have already downloaded it, and it will prompt you to install the next time you begin a game or go to the eShop. If not, head to your System Settings, go to the System menu near the bottom, and select System Update.
Here is the full list of fixes offered with this required version 11.0.0 system update:
- Corrected a problem where some games couldn’t be played correctly.
- Corrected a problem where, in combination with some TVs, the image would not be displayed in TV mode and an error occurred.
- Corrected a problem which changed how the Control Stick and the C Stick on the Nintendo GameCube controller responded.
Did you have any of these problems pop up? Are you excited about this update? Let u know in the comments what you think.
