The Game Awards 2020 has concluded. The Last of Us 2 took the crown for Game of the Year, but that doesn’t mean that the Nintendo Switch left empty-handed.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the second best-selling Switch game, won the Best Family category. It was nominated with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, Minecraft Dungeons, and Paper Mario: The Origami King.
Hades, the timed console-exclusive indie game on Switch, won the Best Indie and Best Action categories. For Best Indie, it was nominated with Carrion, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Spelunky 2, and Spiritfarer; for Best Action, it was nominated with Doom Eternal, Half-Life: Alyx, Nioh 2, and Streets of Rage 4.
