The British indie game publisher, Merge Games Ltd. has announced that Bounty Battle, a crossover indie brawler will now be releasing on September 10, 2020, for Nintendo Switch and other platforms.
Bounty Battle was originally set for a July 2020 release before being delayed. It is developed by Dark Screen games, a small French indie studio. The game’s creator describes the game as a multiplayer 2D fighting game, inspired by the Super Smash Bros. and Soulcalibur games. The game will include characters from many popular indie games including SteamWorld Dig, Guacamelee!, Battle Chasers Nightwar, Owlboy, Axiom Verge, and Dead Cells. Those are just to name a few.
