E3 is just a couple weeks away, and Nintendo is still popping out Direct video presentations. A couple weeks ago, we had one focused on Super Mario Maker 2, and today, we got word that a Pokémon-focused Direct is coming on June 5, 2019.
This livestreamed event is set to begin at 6am Pacific Time. It will be 15 minutes in length and will focus on the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games for Nintendo Switch.
What do you expect to see in this Pokémon Direct?
Also, what is Nintendo up to by releasing these game-specific Directs before E3? Do they have so much new content that they need the extra space? Do they see these games as too big, so they need separate videos? Do they think they are not big enough for E3? Or is Nintendo clearing the deck by having these additional events before their E3 Direct?
We have so many questions! But be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below.
Feel free to watch the live event right here with us. We’ll also have a summary of everything that was announced soon after the Direct, in case you miss it.
