Animal Crossing: New Horizons April 2020 Update to Bring Leif, Redd, and More

Right on the heels of the Super Mario Maker 2 update, Nintendo Switch owners will also get another update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The update will drop on April 23, 2020, and bring Leif’s Garden Shop, Jolly Redd’s Treasure Trawler, an art gallery update to the museum, and several upcoming holidays/seasons (Nature Day, May Day Tour, International Museum Day, and Wedding Season). Nintendo Direct Mini 3.26.2020 – Full List of Announcements + Video

There has been talk about a Nintendo Direct presentation for several months. The last one we had was on September 4, 2019. Many expected one in January and also February. Now, here we are almost at the end of March with a surprise drop of a Nintendo Direct Mini with nearly 29 minutes of Nintendo Switch games coming this year (that is if the COVID-19 virus doesn’t delay anything).

Nintendo Adding 2 SNES and 2 NES Games to Switch Online on February 19, 2020

On February 19, 2020, we will get two more SNES games and two more NES games. This will be the first time these SNES games have been released in the United States. These games bring the total to 26 SNES games 52 NES games for a grand total of 78 classic games available on the Nintendo Switch Online Service.

Byleth, Cuphead, and More Coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate

Early this morning, January 16, Masahiro Sakurai, the director of the Smash Bros. series, shared another update on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch. We learned what the last DLC character would be in the Fighter Pack 1, he showed us the next round of Mii costumes, we saw the next amiibo, and we found out there will be six characters coming in Fighter Pack 2.

Smash Bros. Ultimate Presentation Announced for January 16, 2020

Earlier today, via Masahiro Sakurai’s and NintendoVS Twitter, it was announced that there will be a 35 minute video livestream featuring an in-depth look at an upcoming DLC fighter. Nintendo then followed up with an official press release. This will be the final DLC character to be released under the first Smash Fighters Pass.
