The next mainline installment in the Kirby franchise was previously slated for Spring 2022, but now has an official release date, along with a new trailer.

There will also be a co-op mode where a second player join as the spear-wielding, Bandana Waddle Dee. Kirby and the Forgotten Land also introduces Waddle Dee Town, the central hub. The town develops more and more based on the number of Waddle Dees you rescue as you progress. Minigames will unlock as the game progresses which includes the Waddle Dee Café, where Kirby needs to quickly prepare customers’ orders to keep them satisfied and aim for a high score.
