This week is a big one for the gaming industry as the Game Awards 2020 will be held. It’s unknown if we could get any major Nintendo announcements from this event, especially any shadowdrops. Regardless, this is a light week for games.
The retail front only sees two releases: Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 and Space Invaders Forever. Both are new ways to play classic games. In relation to the Game Awards, the digital front will have Doom Eternal finally making its way to Nintendo Switch and it’s also nominated for Game of the Year. Ghostrunner, the Cyberpunk game everyone is talking about will also finally release on Switch. Other notable games include PixelJunk Eden 2 (from longtime Nintendo partner, Q-Games), Tanuki Justice, Accidental Queens Collection, Persian Nights 2: The Moonlight Veil, and Warplanes: WW1 Sky Planes.
