Nintendo announced recently that they will have an Expansion Pack update to their Nintendo Switch Online service. This base service allows players to play some games online, play a selection of NES and SNES games locally and online, enjoy cloud backup for most games’ save data, download the Switch mobile app, and have access to other items and limited time benefits. The Expansion pack will add even more when it launches on October 25, 2021.
Beginning in late October 2021, Nintendo will add a new membership option to their Nintendo Switch Online service. In addition to the existing benefits, members will also have access to a number of Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games to play locally or multiplayer online.
It’s been 2 months since the last drop of games. This time Nintendo is adding only 3 SNES games to the service.
Nintendo has confirmed that the classic game selection for Switch Online members will reach a total of 104 games with one NES game and four SNES games.
You can now pre-purchase the NES Joy Con controllers. Get’em while you can, as it is sure to be a hot item on reseller sites.
