Xenoblade Chronicles Series Surpasses 5 Million in Sales

A recent Nintendo Co., Ltd. investors meeting has revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, the HD remaster of the critically acclaimed Wii JRPG, has sold 1.32 million copies worldwide as of June 30, 2020. Interestingly enough, 80% of the sales were from overseas while 20% were from Japan. With these sales, the series has crossed the 5 million mark.

Super Smash Bros. Series Tops 60 Million in Sales

In a recent investor meeting, Nintendo Co., Ltd. updated their software sales for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending in 2021 (April-June). Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was revealed to have sold another 1.19 million units. Its lifetime sales numbers are currently at 19.99 million. Because of these sales, the long-running and beloved Super Smash Bros. series has now crossed 60 million sales worldwide!

Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold 61 Million Units Worldwide

Nintendo Co., Ltd. has released their hardware sales for the first fiscal quarter of the 2020-2021 fiscal year. This quarter covers a three-month period from April 1 to June 30 of this year. The Nintendo Switch is now at a lifetime sales of 61.44 million worldwide. In the previous quarter, it was at 55.76 million, meaning it sold 5.68 million units in the past quarter.
